Village Center Committee Visioning Public Workshop for Sunderland Village Center - THURS. MARCH 28 3-8PM
The Village Center Committee invites you to a public workshop to learn about opportunities for Sunderland’s village center. What are the elements that define a village center? Which changes do we like, and can they work in Sunderland? How can we improve walkability and enjoyment for all ages? How does transportation, including a possible roundabout, impact the center of our town? What improvements would support our village businesses?
In the Community Room at the Sunderland Public Library, the workshop will run in an open house format with visualizations and activities available on a drop-in basis from 3:00PM to 8:00PM. A presentation will repeat from 3:30-4:00PM and 6:30-7:00PM (attend one of the time options and/or drop in at your convenience). The presentation will be geared towards adults and youth ages 12+. There will be opportunity for all ages 3+ to participate in activities between 4-6:30.
The workshop is presented by Stantec, consultant on the Village Center visioning process, and the Sunderland Village Center Committee.
