Change of Address Form

Motor Vehicle Excise Bill Address Changes

It is your responsibility to notify the Registry of Motor Vehicles of your address change.

You are able to do that online here or through your Automobile Insurance Agent. We cannot change your address in the Assessor’s office.

If you move out of town it is important to change the Town of Garaging on your vehicle registration so that the correct town sends out your bill. This is in addition to your mailing and residential address. You will need an RMV-3 to bring to the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Click here to see example of garaging.

Please remember that if you do not change your address with the RMV, your bills will continue to go to the last address of record.
