SUNDERLAND PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE - starting Mondays on May 6, 2024
The Board of Health is comprised of three (3) elected members. In addition to the three elected members, the Town contracts with a Health Agent who provides services related to soil evaluations, wells, pools, camps, food inspections and backup coverage for the Housing Health Agent. The Town also contracts with a Housing Health Agent for housing concerns and complaints which may be related to health and/or sanitary conditions at properties including rental properties, hoarding concerns, building condemnations, fire or other disaster inspections and or other health related matters. The Housing Health Agent also provides backup coverage for the Health Agent. Housing inspection requests must be made by the legal tenant on the property lease. Any requests for inspections, etc. for private properties must be made by the property owner. Call 413-665-1441 x6 to schedule an appointment for the Health Agent or Housing Health Agent.

The Board of Health meets once a month on Mondays. Check the Town calendar on the website for meeting date each month.
